I always wanted titian locks. I'm afraid when I acquired them it was courtesy of the hair salon. She is lovely, thank you for sharing her with us. hugs x
May I be so bold to ask, if you are not too busy with the holiday, could you post another painting! Love what you do...and can't wait till you post another one.
The build-up to the Christmas Season when all our family came to stay and other little projects since the turn of the New Year have taken up all of my time and left me none for blogging, or painting, lately, Dear Wanda. I must try to remedy that situation ASAP. Thank you for your patience and your valuable comments which help to inspire me :) I wish you happy gardening and happy painting this New Year :)
Thank you for this information, Adam Brown. I will investigate it shortly.
Although she is a seasoned artist's model, she was a little nervous that morning. She reminded me of the beautiful women that Titian and the Raphaelites painted :)
In 1990, as we were driving through a little village, I noticed a quaint old barn with a corrugated roof, and a newly-built house adjacent to it. They were standing on a large plot of land, full of pernicious weeds - a corner of a farmer's field, in fact. Then we saw the "For Sale" sign. Four months later we moved in and decided to create a garden for wildlife.

Love the color and the shadows on the face. You have a wonderful eye and technique.
I was born a redhead...now it's silver threads among the gold!!
Keep sharing you work...I love it!
Good morning, dear Wanda, and a warm welcome to you once again.
This particular young lady has beautiful copper-coloured red hair which is so striking it is her crowning glory.
Her skin is pale and delicate-looking so it was difficult to find shadow on it.
I used glitter for her earrings and the jewel in her nose :)
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I love your blog, so much nice thing to look at, very interesting!!!
A warm welocme to you, Berit, and thank you for the compliments :)
Lovely job WG. Love her pretty hair.
What a lovely portrait and the vibrancy of the hair is caught brilliantly.
